Alfa Romeo Owners Club Klang Valley (AROCKV) Malaysia recently organized a gathering of nearly 100 people to mark the 20th anniversary celebration of the Alfa Romeo 155 model. Some 55 Alfa Romeos of various vintages turned up, from the venerable Alfetta to the newer 159 models. The gathering came into fruition after an initiative by French-based Alfa enthusiast website BerlinaSportivo.com inviting AROCKV to contribute a video of how the 155's 20th anniversary was celebrated in Malaysia. On 5-6 May 2012, the abovementioned gathering convoyed from the Sime Darby Auto Connexion showroom at Jalan Ipoh to Fraser's Hill.

Ok firstly the Tint shop will always ask you for the make and model of your car, Not Necessarily to charge you like a wounded bull though it would be fair to say there are possibly are some shops that will try and rip you off to get the most money for as little as possible delivered.
The reason why the guys will ask you for the type of car you have is they need to assess the window sizes and accessibility of windows in some cars. For instance the area to be covered in say a people mover or a large 4WD is a big difference than a Nissan 370Z 2 door coupe also some windows in these smaller cars are more angled and very difficult to get good access to. These incurred costs on the Tint shop (Eg more product to be used in larger cars) will be harder to negotiate a discount than possibly more time needed to do harder jobs because if the Tint shop has some slow time they may be persuaded to do a harder job that only costs them more time taken .Just something to take note of.
